We had many severely damaged sewing machine challenges at BSM in North Salt Lake Utah over the years. A few were thrown from second story windows. A 30 cal. bullet hole through the column of a 730, just missing the vertical shaft. A hatchet was hacked into the end of an 807 having pealed out a sizable chunk of the frame and stopped by the motor housing. Lots of bazaar kinds of things like this mostly attributed to alcohol abuse. All were repaired from the battle field bearing scars but in perfect sewing condition.
